Alyssa Foglia is from West Palm Beach, FL and holds degrees in both Dance and Computer Science from the University of Florida. Her work explores the intersection of movement and technology. Alyssa collaborated with Heidi Boisvert on a research project, that merged virtual reality and live dance using Unity, Rokoko Smartsuits, and real-time motion capture. She has trained with and performed repertoire from Paul Taylor, Doug Varone, Galen Hooks, Darrell Moultrie, and Michael Trusnovec. Alyssa continues to push creative boundaries while remaining deeply grounded in her technical foundation and artistic curiosity.
