Ke'Ron Jamaul began his journey into the arts at an early age. By age 15, he was classically proficient in viola, electric bass and voice. Jamaul started his dance training at age sixteen with the American Ballet Theatre curriculum under the instruction of Susan Olson and Shelley Bourgeois at the Harrison School for the Visual and Performing Arts in Lakeland, Fl. He has also trained in the academy at Lakeland's professional dance company, Florida Dance theatre, under the instruction of Carol Krajacic-Erkes and Ferdinand DeJesus. Jamaul is now pursuing a BFA in Dance Performance at Sam Houston State University. He has performed in works choreographed by Dana Nicolay, Elijah Alhadji Gibson, Jaime Fruge-Walne, Joshua Manculich, Joshua L. Peugh, Manuel Vignoulle, and Shelley Bourgeois. Jamaul has also attended dance festivals, such as New Grounds Dance Festival, {254}, Barnstorm Dance Fest, and Dance Gallery Festival. He is looking forward to expanding his knowledge and deepening his passion for dance with Social Movement Contemporary Dance company.
